your child reach their full potential! The following is a guide to some of the important policies we
have in place; if you have any questions before your first session please feel free to get in touch.

Privacy Policy

As part of providing physiotherapy services to you, we will need to collect and record relevant
personal information about you and your child. All personal information gathered during the
provision of services in relation to treatment and assessment will remain confidential and secure,
unless subpoenaed by a court of law.
The practice management software that we utilise for all record-keeping meets Australian privacy
standards and is protected by two-factor authentication.

SHARING OF INFORMATION

There may be occasions where it is necessary to provide written or verbal information about your
child’s progress with other health professionals who are involved in their care, or to funding bodies
such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme. This will not be done without your prior consent.
If your child has been referred by a GP under the Chronic Disease Management Plan, we are
obligated to update their referring doctor on a regular basis. Your use of such a plan to access
physiotherapy services with us constitutes your permission for us to do this.

PHOTO/VIDEO POLICY

As part of your child’s assessment and to gauge progress, we may need to take photos or videos of
your child. You consent will be obtained prior to this occurring. Any images or video that need to be
retained as part of your child’s medical record will be stored securely in our practice management
software. Images and video of your child will never be shared with anyone without your express
consent.

SCHEDULE OF FEES

Payment for services is due at the time of your child’s appointment.

Initial appointment $190

Follow-up appointment 60mins: $190
Follow-up appointment 45mins: $160
Follow-up appointment 30mins: $135

Pricing for children under 12 months of age:

Initial appointment $160
Follow-up appointment 60mins: $160
Follow-up appointment 45mins: $130
Follow-up appointment 30mins: $110

Reports/Letters:
Reports and letters will be charged based on the amount of time required to complete them.
Payment for reports or letters is required prior to receipt.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Little Engines Physiotherapy charges a cancellation fee of $100 when an appointment is cancelled
after 12noon on day before your child’s therapy appointment, or in the event of a no-show. This
helps to ensure that children on our waiting list are able to be offered appointments sooner.
